Netflix have reportedly commissioned a drama adaptation of One Day writer David Nicholls's latest novel You Are Here.

The synopsis reads: "Marnie is stuck. Stuck working alone in her London flat, stuck battling the long afternoons and a life that often feels like it's passing her by. Michael is coming undone. Reeling from his wife's departure, increasingly reclusive, taking himself on long, solitary walks across the moors and fells.

When a persistent mutual friend and some very English weather conspire to bring them together, Marnie and Michael suddenly find themselves alone on the most epic of walks and on the precipice of a new friendship. But can they survive the journey?"

Meanwhile, Netflix have announced casting, led by Sam Worthington and Britt Lower, for its latest Harlan Coben novel adaptation, I Will Find You.

In I Will Find You, David and Cheryl Burroughs are living the dream - married, a beautiful house in the suburbs, a three year old son named Matthew - when tragedy strikes one night in the worst possible way.

David awakes to find himself covered in blood, but not his own - his son's. And while he knows he did not murder his son, the overwhelming evidence against him puts him behind bars indefinitely. Five years into his imprisonment, Cheryl's sister arrives - and drops a bombshell.

She's come with a photograph that a friend took on vacation at a theme park. The boy in the background seems familiar - and even though David realizes it can't be, he knows it is.

It's Matthew, and he's still alive. David plans a harrowing escape from prison, determined to do what seems impossible - save his son, clear his own name, and discover the real story of what happened that devastating night.

The series stars Sam Worthington as David Burroughs, a father serving a life sentence for the murder of his own son - a crime he didn’t commit, yet a tragedy he punishes himself for every day.

Britt Lower as Rachel Mills, David’s ex-sister-in-law and a former decorated reporter whose life fell apart after she was fired; Milo Ventimiglia as Hayden, Rachel’s ex-boyfriend; Logan Browning as Sarah Greer, a member of the FBI's Fugitive Task Force in Boston alongside legendary agent Max Williams. Plus Erin Richards as Cheryl Dreason, David’s ex-wife and a talented and compassionate pediatric surgeon.

Meanwhile, Netflix are adapting Harlan Coben's Run Away. Simon had the perfect life: loving wife and kids, great job, beautiful home. But then his eldest daughter Paige ran away and everything fell apart. So now when he finds her, vulnerable and strung out on drugs in a city park, he finally has the chance to bring his little girl home.

But it turns out she’s not alone and an argument escalates into shocking violence that will shatter Simon’s life all over again. His search for his daughter will take him into a dangerous underworld, revealing deep secrets that could tear his family apart forever.

Speaking on BBC Breakfast, the author revealed that leading the cast will be James Nesbitt (Cold Feet, Bloodlands), Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey), Alfred Enoch and Minnie Driver.

More details will be announced in due course.
