WORLDS APART: YOUNG AND OLD EMBARK ON JOURNEY OF A LIFETIME FOR CHANNEL 4 SERIES

Channel 4 have announced the commission of new entertainment series Worlds Apart, from South Shore productions.

The series sees two people from different generations - young and old - paired up to embark on a journey of a lifetime to Japan to discover the similarities and differences between their generations. Each duo will compete in challenges along the way, with a £50,000 prize up for grabs.

Channel 4's Genna Gibson commented: "I’ve seen how generations can feel miles apart, but bring them together and you realise they share more than you think. Japan, with its ancient traditions and cutting-edge modern life is the perfect backdrop for their journeys."
