BRITAIN'S BEST WOODWORKER RENEWED FOR SECOND AND THIRD SERIES ON CHANNEL 4

This series which celebrates the beauty of the wood material, and the skills of those who are good at working with it, will return for a second and third series.

The first series saw nine of the country's most talented craftspeople compete to be crowned Britain's best woodworker. The series launch in October 2021 - with the first episode consolidating to over 2 million viewers.

It has now been confirmed that the series has been recommissioned for two further series on Channel 4, the first of which will air later this year. Presenters and judges will be announced in due course.

Each episode saw the woodworkers compete against each other in the workshop, which was nestled in the woodland of Wales' Glanusk Estate, where they faced a big build that supersizes the skills they've honed at home and surprising challenges that tested their core skills.

Series 1 of Handmade: Britain's Best Woodworker is available on All4. The next series is due to film later this year.
