BBC HAVE NO PLANS FOR MORE CHRIS & MEGAN TRAVELOGUES

The BBC have no plans for a second series of Chris & Megan's Wild Summer, it has been revealed.

The six-part travelogue, which aired 2021, was fronted by Chris Packham and step-daughter, and Springwatch regular, Megan McCubbin and saw the duo embark on a Summer roadtrip across the country with one mission in mind - to have amazing wildlife encounters.

During the trip, they encountered puffins in Pembrokeshire, red kites and sand lizards in Snowdonia, swim with grey seals in Northumberland, and hope for a rare glimpse of orcas in the Western Isles.

Across the six episodes, Chris and Megan explored the stunning natural beauty and wildlife of South West Wales, Snowdonia, the Lake District, Northumberland, the Cairngorms and the Western Isles.

Speaking to The Sun, Megan said: "Perhaps if the opportunity came around again but at the minute there's no immediate plans to do another series but you never know maybe in the future...

"They've been repeating Wild Summer recently and the reaction to it has been really great so it was really nice to see that come back around and people excited to see it again."

Chris And Megan's Wild Summer is available on BBC iPlayer.
