WHEEL OF FORTUNE REBOOT IN DOUBT

Alison Hammond fronted a pilot episode for ITV.

Wheel Of Fortune sees contestants compete to solve word puzzles to win cash and prizes. At the centre of the studio is a giant carnival wheel that contestants spin throughout the programme to determine their prize(s). It originally ran from 1989-2001 on ITV with host Nicky Campbell.

At the time, a source told The Sun: "Her profile has rocketed recently. She's delivered some standout interviews."

TV Zone has since learnt that the proposed reboot is now 'unlikely to happen', after ITV have sat on the pilot for nearly eight months. ITV declined to comment.
