Uruguay vs South Korea

1pm - BBC

Watch live coverage of the opening match in Group H between two-time winners Uruguay and 2002 semi-finalists South Korea at the Education City Stadium.


The two nations have met twice before at the World Cup, with Uruguay winning in both 1990 and 2010. South Korea, however, enjoyed their first-ever victory in this fixture during the most recent encounter in a friendly four years ago.



Gabby Logan presents the action, with commentary from Pien Meulensteen and Danny Murphy.


Portugal vs Ghana

4pm - ITV

Mark Pougatch presents live coverage, with analysis by Roy Keane, Graeme Souness and Joe Cole, and commentary by Jon Champion and Ally McCoist. The Group H rivals begin their campaigns at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar, in only their second competitive meeting at senior level.



Brazil vs Serbia

7pm - BBC

Gary Lineker presents live coverage, as Brazil begin their quest to win a sixth World Cup in their opening match against Group G rivals Serbia. Commentary comes from Guy Mowbray and Martin Keown.


Brazil is the only nation to have taken part in every World Cup, while they have won the trophy on an unrivalled five occasions.



The pre-tournament favourites begin their 2022 campaign against a Serbia side spearheaded by Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic. The in-form forward will need to be at his best if Serbia is to defeat Brazil for the first time as an independent nation.
