WALLACE & GROMIT TO RECIEVE SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD AT NTAs

It’s cracking news, Gromit! Britain’s much-loved iconic duo, Wallace & Gromit, are set to receive the coveted Special Recognition Award at this year’s 30th National Television Awards, broadcast live from London’s O2 and on ITV1 and ITVX on Wednesday 10th September.  

The honour celebrates the legendary pair who’ve been creating stop-motion commotion for over 30 years, captivating audiences across generations and around the world.  Their most recent adventure Vengeance Most Fowl entertained 22 million of us in Britain alone. They’ve survived trips to the moon, malfunctioning trousers and plots by a pathological penguin – all in clay-mazing Aardman style.  

Viewers can look forward to a brand-new specially created acceptance film featuring Wallace & Gromit themselves from their home in West Wallaby Street and premiering exclusively at the NTAs.

The 30th National Television Awards will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITVX from 8pm, Wednesday 10th September.
