VINNIE JONES RETURNS TO THE COUNTRY FOR SECOND SERIES ON DISCOVERY+

Discovery+ have reportedly commissioned a second series of Vinnie Jones In The Country, according to The Sun newspaper. The series is produced by Lime Pictures.

The series sees the former footballer go all-in on 147 acres of land in the South of England, embarking on a mission to transform his dilapidated West Sussex farm into a sustainable utopia.

The first series saw Vinnie and family build, bond and banter as they look to the future of the estate, establishing new conservation methods and the reintroduction of species and building habitats to attract new wildlife.

A source told The Sun: "In The Country was a sensation when it first aired, because it showed a very different side to Vinnie, who most people think of as a hardman on the pitch and the movie screen. In fact, images of him being at one with nature and tackling important issues, including men’s mental health, helped make it one of Discovery’s biggest shows..."
