TRAFFIC COPS RETURNS TO CHANNEL 5 WITH CRASH SCENE INVESTIGATIONS SERIES

Channel 5 have commissioned a new spin-off series to Traffic Cops. The series reveals the challenging and painstaking work of the North Yorkshire Police crash investigation team.

With unique and unprecedented access each episode covers the entire investigation, from the life-saving attempts at the crash scene to the final coroners decision, as investigators try to provide answers for the families involved.

It comes after the tit blue light series Traffic Cops has been renewed for a twelfth 20x60 episode series by Channel 5. The series is produced by Mentorn Media.

Presented by Jamie Theakstonhe, the show will be embedding with the officers at the North Yorkshire Road Policing Unit for the first time in three years. Cameras will go behind the scenes and join them on shift as they work to tackle road crime.

Viewers can expect the Traffic Cops they all know and love, with some highly charged moments as they tackle road crime in the 3,000 square miles of North Yorkshire.”
