TONIGHT WITH TARGET CONFIRMED FOR SECOND SERIES ON BBC THREE
BBC Three’s critically acclaimed music entertainment show Tonight with Target is back for a second series.
Hosted by BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ and The Rap Game UK mentor DJ Target, this ground-breaking weekly series showcases the most cutting-edge global music performances and celebrity interviews.
New Wave and Naked (a Fremantle label) have been commissioned to make the 6 x 45 topical run designed to reflect the week’s hottest talking points, from within the culture and beyond.
Tonight with Target, filmed in front of a full, live studio audience, will provide a red hot look at the UK scene with exclusive performances and new tracks from the biggest and most exciting emerging and established artists. DJ Target will be turning the energy and volume up to make the show must view, appointment TV, to kick off the weekend.
DJ Target will once again be supported by fellow 1Xtra DJ and music aficionado Remi Burgz and this time she’ll be joining him in the studio to bring her own brand of imaginative question setting with a comedy spin. She will talk to the crowd and celebrity guests alike, ensuring that the Tonight with Target studio is the party you’ll want to be at!
Last series featured some of the scene’s biggest names including Little Simz, Ghetts and Jorja Smith and viewers can expect even more incredible artists this time around.
DJ Target says: “Tonight with Target is back and I cannot wait!! This series is gonna be epic, with another amazing list of performers and guests showcasing some of the biggest names and highlighting breaking talent that’s emerging. All of this with a live audience and non-stop vibes. Let’s go!”
