TONIGHT WITH TARGET AXED BY BBC THREE AFTER TWO SERIES

 EXCLUSIVE

The BBC have axed music entertainment show Tonight With Target after two series on BBC Three.

Hosted by legendary BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ and The Rap Game UK mentor DJ Target, the series was filmed in front of a full, live studio audience and provided a red hot look at the UK scene with exclusive performances and new tracks from the biggest and most exciting emerging and established artists.

DJ Target was joined by fellow 1Xtra DJ and music aficionado Remi Burgz who brought her own brand of imaginative question setting with a comedy spin, talking to the crowd and celebrity guests alike.

A BBC Spokesperson told TV Zone: “Whilst there are no plans for another series of Tonight with Target, we’d like to thank DJ Target and the entire team at New Wave and Naked for bringing viewers two high octane series, all of which are still available for viewers to watch on BBC iPlayer.”

The series featured some of the scene’s biggest names including Little Simz, Ghetts and Jorja Smith.

Tonight With Target is available on BBC iPlayer.
