THE VOICE KIDS: 2022 AUDITIONS NOW OPEN AHEAD OF NEW SERIES THIS CHRISTMAS

Spice Girl Melanie C joins Danny Jones, will.i.am and reigning champion Pixie Lott in the search for the next generation of singing talent, while Emma Willis is back to host the series, which returns this Christmas.

Airing during the festive period, this year’s series of The Voice Kids is a Christmas television event not to be missed. An array of singers, aged seven to 14, will take to the stage in a bid to impress the star coaching panel and get those big red chairs turning.

Most of the upcoming series has already been filmed, with filming starting in February 2021. Meanwhile, applications for the 2022 series of The Voice Kids are now open.

ITV are on the hunt for talented solo singers and duos aged between 7 and 14 to appy for the next series, which is due to record early next year. More information can be found here.

For the upcoming 2021 series, TV Zone understands that the number of places each coach has on their team has been reduced from nine to six, or possibly even just four places. One of the audition episodes will see the coaches perform the Spice Girls hit 'Wannabe', with Mel C and Danny also performing to 'When You're Gone',

The Voice Kids will air later this year on ITV.
