THE VOICE UK WILL RETURN TO ITV IN 2025, WITH POSSIBLE LIVE FINAL

Ahead of this weekend's final, The Voice UK is confirmed to be returning for its fourteenth series in 2025 on ITV1 and ITVX.

TV Zone first revealed that the show would be returning in 2025 back in August. Production listings have now confirmed this, which also suggest that next year's final could air live rather than being pre-recorded like recent years, with production looking for crew up to 25th October 2025 - the likely finale date. ITV have not confirmed its schedule for 2025.

Earlier this year it was rumoured that ITV were developing a celebrity edition of the talent competition. A source told The Sun newspaper: "A celebrity version has been discussed at ITV Studios and it's been mentioned to some names to see if they’re up for it..."

Last Summer it was revealed that ITV had shelved its children's spin-off The Voice Kids after seven series. An ITV spokesperson said at the time: "The Voice Kids is taking a break.. We’re working with Lifted Entertainment on The Voice UK and development of The Voice-branded specials."

The latest series of The Voice saw Emma Willis back at the helm - presenting the show and presiding over the action - as each of the acts takes to the stage in the hope of turning one of the iconic red chairs.

The acts are competing to ultimately win a life-changing record contract with music giants EMI, £50,000 and a trip to Universal Orlando Resort.

The Voice UK is available on ITVX.
