THE TRAITORS: FIRST LOOK AND LAUNCH DATE CONFIRMED FOR SECOND SERIES ON BBC ONE
The BBC have confirmed that The Traitors returns Wednesday 3rd January at 9pm on BBC One, following by episodes on Thursday and Friday that week.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, The Traitors is a nail-biting psychological reality competition where 22 strangers play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning up to £120,000.
The Traitors has now had 34M views on BBC iPlayer, and is the biggest brand new entertainment launch for the BBC in 2 years.
The Traitors was the biggest new series for young audiences across all BBC titles last year, and the highest rating new entertainment series on the BBC since at least 2017 for young audiences.
Claudia Winkleman, says: “I can’t wait to go back to the castle to watch people play the greatest game on television. I’m knitting a high funnel sweater immediately.”
The Traitors: Uncloaked is a brand new visualised podcast, hosted by award-winning stand up comedian and presenter Ed Gamble, that will take fans of the smash-hit entertainment show The Traitors deeper into the castle with dissection of the episodes and exclusive access to the banished and murdered players.
As soon as viewers have finished with their latest fix of The Traitors on BBC One, made by Studio Lambert, they’ll be able to join Ed, cast members and celebrity guests for all the best analysis and reaction to the latest betrayals, mind games and manipulations. This access all areas visual podcast will be available on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer with an extended version on BBC Sounds.
