THE SANDMAN: CASTING ANNOUNCED FOR SECOND SERIES OF NETFLIX DRAMA

The Sandman is officially returning to Netflix for a second series, with more stories to be adapted.



Based on the beloved award-winning DC comic series written by Neil Gaiman, THE SANDMAN is a rich, character-driven blend of myth and dark fantasy woven together over the course of ten epic chapters following Dream’s many adventures.



Joining the cast for Series 2 are Ruairi O'Connor as Orpheus, Indya Moore as Wanda, Ann Skelly as Nuala, Douglas Booth as Cluracan, Freddie Fox as Loki, Laurence O'Fuarain as Thor, Clive Russel as Odin, Jack Gleeson as Puck and Steve Coogan as the voice of Barnabas.


Writer Neil Gaiman said: "Millions upon millions of people have welcomed and watched and loved The Sandman on Netflix, from established Sandman fans to people who were simply curious, and then became obsessed with the Lord of Dreams, his family and their goings-on...

Gaiman continued: "There are some astonishing stories waiting for Morpheus and the rest of them (not to mention more members of the Endless Family to meet)...




The Sandman is available now on Netflix.
