THE REAL FULL MONTY SHELVED BY ITV FOR 2024

ITV have reportedly shelved The Real Full Monty for this year, which sees a line-up of brave celebrities ready to take the famous Full Monty strip to a whole new level in front of a live audience.

Each year saw Ashley Banjo led the series which sees the recruits, who all have stories to tell about how cancer has touched the lives of themselves or those closest to them, bare all to raise awareness of life-saving cancer checks, whilst bring old school glitz and glamour to the strip.

A source told The Mirror: "Getting celebrities to agree to take off all their clothes in front of not only a live audience, but millions more thanks to the cameras, is no small task...

"Even Coleen Nolan, who has been involved for many years, has told how absolutely terrifying she finds it. So the decision has been made to give it a break. It does not mean it will never come back, but there are no plans in the pipeline at this point."

The Real Full Monty began in 2017 on ITV, with nine male celebrities, including Ashley Banjo, baring all. In 2018, it returned to ITV with the added addition of a Ladies' Night, with celebrities including Coleen Nolan and Victoria Derbyshire.

Previous episodes are available to watch on ITVX. The Real Full Monty is produced by Spun Gold for ITV.
