ITV FORMALLY ANNOUNCES I'M A CELEBRITY SPIN-OFF, THE WILD FRONTIER, FOR 2027

I’m A Celebrity…The Wild Frontier is a brand new series and format from the world of the global hit franchise I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Set in the rugged wilderness of Canada, the show will launch in 2027 on ITV1, STV, STV Player and ITVX.

The new series will be hosted by award-winning presenters Ant & Dec and in a unique twist on the Australian version, will feature celebrities competing in pairs. Set in the untamed wilderness of Canada, the series will feature celebrities competing as pairs alongside relatives, loved ones or even fellow celebrities.

The pairs will eat, compete and be eliminated together as one. Viewers will see the pairings undertake gruelling trials in the beautiful and unknown Canadian landscape and take on action-packed challenges to win food, all aiming to become the last pair standing.

After weeks of shocks and survival in the Canadian wilderness, viewers will have the power to decide which duo is crowned the overall winners.  Viewers will be able to have their say and cast the final vote in a live grand final broadcast direct from London. 

Taking part - according to The Sun newspaper - are: content creators Paul Olima and Jeremy Lunch; couple Rio and Kate Ferdinand; boyband members Brian McFadden and Keith Duffy; ice skaters Christopher Dean and Karen Barber; couple Venezuela Fury and Noah Price plus Louise Redknapp and brother Joe.

Ant said: “This brand new series is I’m A Celebrity… like you’ve never seen before. It’s a brand new format with lots of twists and surprises.” Dec said: “We’re also making sure to retain some of the elements that we know viewers love from the Australian series. Buckle up, it’s going to be brilliant.”

I'm A Celebrity...Unpacked will return to ITV2, airing directly after each main episode on ITV1. The series will also be available as a vodcast on ITVX, Spotify, and YouTube, with an audio-only version available on all major podcast platforms. In addition, a special live Unpacked episode will air on ITV2 immediately following the live ITV1 grand final.
