THE PHILLIP SCHOFIELD SHOW: NON-TX PILOT FOR ITV CHATSHOW SURFACES ONLINE

A non-TX ITV pilot for chatshow The Phillip Schofield Show has surfaced online, days after the star quit ITV after confessing to an affair with a younger colleague.

The pilot is believed to have been filmed in 2005, in a period where ITV were looking for potential replacements for The Paul O'Grady Show in the 5pm weekday slot. Schofield had already been presenting This Morning for over three years at this point.

His guests for the pilot episode were Alistair McGowan, Michelle Heaton and Oliver Skeete. Schofield was joined by co-host Joanna Salley who introduces him at the start of the programme.
