Channel 4 has ordered a fourth series of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan, the entertainment chat show, co-produced by Expectation and Gilligan’s production company Momo G.
Mo Gilligan was awarded a BAFTA in the Entertainment Performance category in 2021 for the series and is instrumental in the creative direction of the show which will return with a new series on Channel 4 later this year.
The series features games, sketches, music and chat with some of the biggest stars from the worlds of entertainment, music and sport. Star guests who have appeared on the show include Riz Ahmed, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwimmer, Tyson Fury, Jack Whitehall, Martin Freeman, KSI, Steve Coogan and Lily Allen.
The fourth series was commissioned last year as part of a two-year deal. Mo Gilligan said at the time: “I’m absolutely thrilled that Channel 4 have given us such an incredible commissioning commitment. The whole team is very proud of Lateish and through this long-term partnership we’ll continue to work hard to make the very best show we can...”’
