THE HIT LIST RENEWED FOR SEVENTH SERIES ON BBC ONE

Popular BBC One music quiz The Hit List which sees teams compete for £10,000 has been recommissioned for a seventh series, and will return to screens in 2024.

Packed full of great music and presented by dynamic husband and wife presenting duo - Marvin and Rochelle Humes, the quiz sees pairs of contestants try to name the artist and the title of hit songs over three different rounds, before the last couple faces The Final Chart Rundown for the chance of winning up to £10,000.

The new series is also looking for a new batch of contestants so if viewers that play along at home think they have what it takes they can apply to be on the show.

Made by Tuesday’s Child Scotland and filmed at Pacific Quay in Glasgow, The Hit List will be back with six regular episodes and six celebrity specials.

The Hit List hosts Marvin and Rochelle Humes say: “We are so excited to be back with our SEVENTH series! We have so much fun hosting the show together, and we’re excited to see what this next series will bring. We’re looking forward to more Saturday night fun that will have you shouting the answers at your TV!”

Karen Smith, Executive Producer of The Hit List, added: “It is truly amazing to have The Hit List recommissioned for its seventh series. I hope that viewers will enjoy the great music selection that will transform their living rooms into a house party!”

Neil McCallum, Commissioning Editor for the BBC, commented: “It’s been amazing to see the success of the Hit List over the years and it is marvellous to have it come back for a seventh series. Marvin and Rochelle are amazing hosts, their energy really shines through and creates the upbeat atmosphere that viewers love to tune into on Saturday evenings.”

The Hit List is available now on iPlayer.
