THE BAY RETURNS FOR SECOND SERIES ON ITV

The Bay returns for a second series on ITV in 2021 (delayed due to the Pandemic). The first series of the drama aired in March 2019.

The Bay series two begins with Lisa Armstrong, played by Morven Christie, at a low ebb: Demoted, she is forced to do menial police work whilst she watches Med go from strength to strength. But a new case, involving a shocking murder within a loving family, brings Lisa unexpectedly back into the front line.

She must get under the skin of a new family and prove her worth; to her colleagues, to her family and to herself. Written by award-winning playwright Daragh Carville and set in the unique costal town of Morecambe, we see Joe Absolom, James Cosmo, Stephen Tompkinson, Sharon Small and Owen McDonnell, amongst others guest star.
