THE ANSWER RUN: JASON MANFORD TO HOST NEW BBC DAYTIME QUIZ

BBC Daytime has commissioned a unique new quiz show: The Answer Run, for BBC One and iPlayer. Created and made by BBC Studios Entertainment Productions, comedian Jason Manford will host this brand new series coming to screens later this year.

Filming will take place in Glasgow in February for this 25x45’ series, and will see three pairs battle it out in a fast paced, quick-thinking general knowledge quiz show, where contestants are always one swipe away from banking the cash or crashing out.

The format is based on 50/50 decisions where each question can only fit into one of the two answers provided. However, faced with the pressure of The Answer Run, will the teams make the right call as to which way they will swipe their answers before they run out of time?

Answer categories will range from ‘Beyonce or Barbie’ to ‘Neptune or Mars’ through to ‘Football or Basketball’ and everything in between.

Teams will be eliminated throughout the show, until one pair remains who will have the chance to face The Answer Run one final time to attempt to take home the money they’ve banked during the episode.

This fun-filled series will be easy to play along to at home with the whole family.
