The BBC today confirms that three international versions of the hit reality entertainment show will be available on BBC iPlayer in 2024.

For those who are new to The Traitors, it is a psychological reality game show centred around tactics, betrayal, suspicion and manipulation. Should the Faithful contestants eliminate all the Traitors, they will share the prize fund. If a Traitor makes it to the end, they steal the money.

The UK version of the show produced by Studio Lambert, is hosted by Claudia Winkleman and has been a huge hit with audiences, receiving widespread critical acclaim with the most recent series concluding on BBC One and iPlayer on Friday 26 January with a 70 minute long final episode.

Following the culmination of the UK series, the second series of The Traitors Australia, hosted by Rodger Corser, begins on BBC Three at 10.50pm on Friday 26 January 2024, immediately after the final episode of The Traitors: Uncloaked on BBC Two, with all 9 episodes available as a boxset on BBC iPlayer at 6am the same day.

Later in the year, the second series of The Traitors US, also produced by Studio Lambert, arrives on BBC iPlayer. Hosted by Alan Cumming, the series will feature some players familiar to audiences in the UK including former House of Commons speaker John Bercow and previous Love Island contestant Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

The first series of The Traitors NZ hosted by Paul Henry will also be coming to BBC iPlayer.

Dan McGolpin, Director, BBC iPlayer & Channels says: “The Traitors is one of the most thrilling shows around and the BBC will be following up on the latest UK series with more from Australia, New Zealand and the US, with all of this treachery to be available across 2024 on BBC iPlayer.”

Broadcast details for The Traitors US and The Traitors NZ will be confirmed in due course, with all episodes available on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer.
