THE TELETUBBIES ARE BACK AS NETFLIX ANNOUNCES REBOOT OF ICONIC CHILDREN'S SERIES

The iconic children's series will return for all new episodes later this year on Netflix.

The Teletubbies - Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po - first hit screens in 1997 and has aired nearly 500 episodes to date. The original series aired across CBBC and Cbeebies.

The first run of the show came to an end in February 2001, before being revived in November 2015 by the BBC. The BBC then decided not to make any more episodes in 2018.

The new series - which lands on Netflix from 14th November - will follow the iconic quartet as they frolic around and have education adventures under the watchful eye of the sun... which is also a baby.

The revived series will be narrated by Tituss Burgess, with Jeremiah Krage, Nick Kellington, Rebecca Hyland and Rachelle Beinet at the Teletubbies themselves.

More details about the new series will be revealed in due course.
