LAWRENCE ROBB ELIMINATED FROM STRICTLY COME DANCING FOLLOWING TRIPLE DANCE OFF
In the fifth results show of Strictly Come Dancing 2026, Lawrence Robb and Jowita Przystał left the competition following Strictly’s first ever three-couple dance off against Bethany Antonia and Nancy Xu, and Jaime Winstone and Carlos Gu.
The three couples performed their routines again. Bethany and Nancy performed their Jive to I’m In Love With a Monster by Fifth Harmony, Jaime and Carlos performed their Salsa to Filthy / Gorgeous by Scissor Sisters, and Lawrence and Jowita performed their Tango to Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.
After the three couples had danced, the judges delivered their verdicts on who they wished to eliminate:
Head judge Shirley Ballas chose to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita
Anton Du Beke chose to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita
Craig Revel Horwood chose to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita
Therefore with three votes, Lawrence and Jowita became the next couple to leave the competition. Motsi Mabuse – who this week was the judge with the deciding vote – said if her vote was needed, she would have chosen to eliminate Lawrence and Jowita.
There’ll be immediate reaction from the Strictly dance floor in Strictly: Lights Up, hosted by Abi Clarke and Tyler West, available on BBC iPlayer from the moment the results show credits roll. Lawrence and Jowita will then join Ellie Taylor on Strictly - It Takes Two on Monday at 6:30pm on BBC Two and BBC iPlayer.
Sunday night’s results show got spooky when the Professionals performed a Halloween group routine to Dracula by Tame Impala, featuring a vocal cameo from Sir Ian McKellen. The results show also featured music from Becky Hill, accompanied by Strictly Pros Aleksandra Isaeva and Cristian Priori.
The remaining ten couples will take to the dancefloor next week, when Strictly Come Dancing returns at 6:30pm on Saturday 7th November. All episodes of the 2026 series so far are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
