STRICTLY SET FOR FRIDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT LIVE SHOWS DUE TO WORLD CUP CLASHES
The multi-award-winning entertainment show, produced by BBC Studios, continues on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this autumn, once again bringing glitter, glamour and glorious dancing to homes across the nation.
Due to the World Cup, beginning mid-November and ending mid-December, the BBC have been forced to reschedule many Saturday night live shows. The final will remain on Saturday and broadcast on 17th December.
In the first week of December, the first live show will air on a Friday - Friday 2nd December. The following week's show will then air on Sunday 11th December. The BBC are yet to confirm whether the results for these shows will be broadcast live, or a pre-recorded results show will air as normal.
The BBC have also announced the annual Strictly Christmas special. It will record on Wednesday 7th December and is expected to air on Christmas Day on BBC One. It will once again see six new celebrities will take to the floor and compete to become the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas champion 2022.
