STRICTLY COME DANCING LAUNCH POSTPONED FOLLOWING QUEEN'S DEATH

The launch of Strictly Come Dancing 2022 has be delayed following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II.



The series launch show, which was due to begin at 6:10pm this Saturday, will instead now air from 7pm on Friday 23rd September.



The first live show will then follow on Saturday 24th September.


The launch show was pre-recorded on Wednesday 7th September, before the news of the Queen's death. More details will be revealed in due course.




This year's Strictly stars are: actor Will Mellor; actress and presenter Kym Marsh; radio presenter Richie Anderson; Loose Women star Kaye Adams; comedian Jayde Adams; Paralympic swimmer Ellie Simmonds OBE; radio DJ Tyler West; singer-songwriter Matt Goss...



They are joined by actress and comedian Ellie Taylor; singer and actress Molly Rainford; football legend Tony Adams MBE; singer-songwriter and presenter Fleur East; wildlife cameraman Hamza Yassin; EastEnder James Bye and presenter Helen Skelton.


Strictly Come Dancing returns Friday 23rd September on BBC One.
