STRICTLY: 2021 PLANS REVEALED - FULL SERIES WITH NO BLACKPOOL

Strictly returns with a full-run series with 15 celebrities this Autumn on BBC One.

The pro dancers will once again isolate together this Summer and pre-record all the pro routines for the result shows. Themed weeks are back, however the show will not travel to Blackpool due to uncertainty around travel restrictions.

The traditional Christmas special will also be back, having been replaced by a countdown show for Christmas 2020. As previously announced, Anton Du Beke joins the judging panel with Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse. Tess and Claudia will present the series.

Executive producer Sarah James told the Mirror: "We’re so thrilled that Strictly will be returning for a full-length series this year, and know how much viewers are looking forward to getting their full Strictly fix and seeing the return of much-loved specials."

She continued: "We are all so sad that we won’t be able to get to Blackpool this year but can’t wait to be back dancing at the one and only Blackpool Tower Ballroom in the future."
