BBC TO REPEAT FIRST EVER EPISODE OF STRICTLY COME DANCING
BBC Four, as part of its Classic Entertainment series airing over the Summer, are to repeat the first ever episode of Strictly Come Dancing this Summer ahead of the new series launching in September.
Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly present the then-new show where celebrities are paired with professionals in a ballroom dancing competition. The judges are Craig Revel Horwood, Len Goodman, Arlene Phillips and Bruno Tonioli.
The celebrities and their dancing partners are David Dickinson and Camilla Dallerup, Lesley Garrett and Anton du Beke, Verona Joseph and Paul Killick, Natasha Kaplinsky and Brendan Cole, Martin Offiah and Erin Boag, Christopher Parker and Hanna Karttunen, Claire Sweeney and John Byrnes, and Jason Wood and Kylie Jones.

Strictly Come Dancing is returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in autumn 2024 with another spectacular series of glitz, glamour and unforgettable performances with the brand new series promising to be extra special as Strictly turns 20!
Viewers are in for an extra special 20th birthday treat as an unmissable one-off programme will also be coming to BBC One and iPlayer that promises a journey through 20 years of unforgettable entertainment featuring iconic performances and plenty of heart-warming interviews with past celebrity stars, professional dancers, and judges too.
Strictly Come Dancing: Series 1 Episode 1 airs Saturday 10th August at 7pm on BBC One.
