ITV Studios announces that Solitary, the bold and controversial reality game show that was the number one show on FOX Reality Channel and created by Lincoln Hiatt and Andrew Golder, is joining its format catalogue.

In Solitary, contestants are confined to isolation pods with no sense of day or night, no human contact, and no alliances. Guided only by Val, an ever-present computer entity, they face relentless physical and mental challenges until the last one standing claims the prize. The only rule: don’t quit first.
Mike Beale, MD Creative Network, ITV Studios, said: “Solitary is an audacious format that still feels incredibly fresh today. With its arcing competition, it can work for both linear and streaming services. We’re thrilled to bring it into our catalogue and be working with Lincoln and Andrew to relaunch it in the market.”
The format has previously travelled to Germany (ProSieben) and Brazil (SBT).
