SKY COPPERS: CHANNEL 4 FOLLOW POLICE DRONE UNIT FOR NEW SERIES

This brand-new police investigation series follows the work of the West Midlands Police Drone Unit. Drone tech is a specialist ultra-modern toolhelping officers in their investigations as theytrack criminals from the sky.

The Unit pursue suspected wrongdoers trying to hide up trees, discarding drugs, and running away from the scene of a crime. The Sky Coppers are watching from above: because, as they know from experience, criminals always forget to look up.

In this episode, the Sky Coppers arrive with a drug warrant just as a suspected dealer tries to throw several wads of cash from an upstairs window - totally unaware he is being watched from the sky. Later the Unit use their high-tech kit to search for a wanted man who was last seen climbing over a garden fence. But where is he hiding now?

Elsewhere, the team uncover giant illicit cannabis grows and are attacked by a smoke bomb fired from a stolen car. It's just an average shift for the West Midlands Drone Unit, who work on the ground, but hunt from the sky.
