SIMON COWELL TO MISS BGT FINALS AND 'WILL BE REPLACED'

REPORTS: Simon Cowell to miss Britain Got Talent finals entirely as he recovers after breaking his back.

The Mirror are reporting that Simon Cowell is to miss the Britain's Got Talent finals entirely. Bosses have previously aimed for Simon to contribute to the show via video link, however this has been decided against to give Simon a longer recovery time.

ITV are now reportedly seeking a replacement judge to replace him.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, this year's finals will be pre-recorded with a live virtual audience. The show's will air on Saturday nights on ITV.

Britain's Got Talent returns to screens with a one-off recap show on Sunday 30 August at 6:30pm on ITV. The first semi-final is expected to air the following Saturday.
