SILENCE IS GOLDEN: CHANNEL 4 PILOT COMEDY GAMESHOW FROM RICHARD BACON

A run-through of a new comedy gameshow from the mind of Richard Bacon took place at Riverside Studios in London in January.

Titled Silence Is Golden, the show would rely heavily on audience participation as all they have to do is not react to some of the most shocking, funny and emotional acts and surprises in order to take home their share of a huge cash prize.

With every reaction, the prize pot will reduce, so it’s in the interest of the audience to remain as poker-faced as possible whilst the performers try to provoke a reaction.

The run-through took place on Wednesday 19th January 2022. Channel 4 have not announced whether the show will be taken to series.
