CHANNEL 5 GO ON MORE CRUISES WITH SUSAN CALMAN

Channel 5 has commissioned Daisybeck Studios to make (8 x60') series of the popular Cruising With Susan Calman which returns later this year.

Last series saw Susan Calman kick off with a quick flight from Dublin to New York. With just a few hours to spare before she boards her cruise, Susan decides that the quickest way to see the city that never sleeps is from the air — on a spectacular helicopter ride.

She then takes a tour of her new home on board ship before setting sail for Newport, Rhode Island, where she swaps the ship for a slightly smaller craft, as she learns what it takes to steer an America’s Cup yacht around the bay.

Then, it’s on to Boston and a trolleybus tour of the city — including popping into the bar where everybody knows your name and says ‘Cheers!’. Finally, in the home of the famous Boston Red Sox, she rounds off the day with a baseball lesson.
