Get ready for the ultimate New Year’s Eve party as global music legend Ronan Keating takes centre stage to lead the celebrations into 2026.

Ronan Keating & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party promises a night packed with incredible performances, big surprises, and feel-good hits as Ronan performs some of his greatest songs alongside a lineup of very special guests.
With over three decades in the spotlight, Ronan Keating has been a household name since his days fronting the record-breaking boy band Boyzone, who sold more than 25 million albums worldwide.
This year marks 25 years since Ronan’s multi-platinum debut solo album Ronan, recently re-released as a deluxe anniversary edition featuring remastered versions of his classic tracks. Alongside his music, Ronan has become one of television’s most recognisable personalities, from coaching on The Voice in both Australia and the UK, to hosting Magic Radio’s breakfast show for seven years.
Across the evening, Ronan will be joined on stage by two of his former Boyzone bandmates, Louise, Shona and Calum Scott for one-off, specially curated performances, celebrating some of the biggest and best-loved songs of the last three decades.
In a highly anticipated moment, Ronan reunites with his former Boyzone bandmates Keith Duffy and Shane Lynch for a special performance. One of the most successful pop groups of the 1990s, Boyzone scored six UK number-one singles and sold more than 25 million records worldwide. Their appearance promises a powerful burst of nostalgia and a chance to see one of pop’s most iconic line-ups together again.
Also joining Ronan on stage is pop icon Louise, fresh off the back of her recent Top 10 album Confessions. A defining voice of 90s pop through her time in Eternal and her successful solo career selling 15 million records to date. Louise’s appearance is set to deliver pure feel-good energy to keep audiences on their feet.
Fresh from the Australian jungle, ex-EastEnders, pop and musical theatre star Shona will take to the stage. With acclaimed performances in the West End and a reputation for powerhouse vocals, Shona brings a touch of theatrical flair to a unique New Year’s Eve collaboration.
Completing the line-up is multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Calum Scott. Known for his soaring vocals and emotionally charged hits including You Are The Reason and Biblical, Calum brings a modern, soulful sound to the New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Ronan Keating says: “There’s nothing better than ringing in the New Year with music that brings people together. I’m so excited to be hosting this year’s New Year’s Eve Party on BBC One – it’s going to be an unforgettable night and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone across the UK.”
As the clock ticks down to midnight, the nation will join Ronan and his all-star guests for an electric night of live entertainment, before cutting to London’s world-famous fireworks display to officially welcome the new year. Then, the party continues as Ronan and friends keep the celebrations going well into 2026.
Jonathan Rothery, Head of Popular Music TV at the BBC, says: “New Year’s Eve on BBC One is one of our biggest music moments of the year. Recently Sam Ryder, Rick Astley and Sophie Ellis-Bextor have helped bring the party to viewers, and this year BBC Music are very happy to announce that Ronan Keating will take us into 2026 with some much-loved classics, joined by some very special guests.”
Alison Howe, Executive Producer, BBC Studios, adds: “Ronan’s gorgeous songs, effortless charm and showmanship make him the perfect host for a New Year’s Eve Party filled with hits, friends, emotion and fun - all the right ingredients for the biggest night of the year.”
Ronan Keating & Friends: A New Year’s Eve Party is a BBC Studios Music Production (2 x 30 mins) for BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
