REPORTS: FULL SERIES OF ALL STAR MUSICALS TO TAKE X FACTOR SLOT IN 2021

Reports suggest ITV are looking at bringing back All Star Musicals for a full series in Autumn 2021.

Last weekend, host Dermot O'Leary confirmed that The X Factor will not return in 2021. A source has gone on to tell The Sun: "ITV has decided that next year isn't going to be feasible for X Factor. It's been off air since 2019 now and it'll be 2022 at the earliest, realistically, before it's back...

"They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, so hopefully this extended break does exactly that. All Star Musicals is the main contender to replace it as things stand.

All Star Musicals, which last aired in 2019, sees a group of celebrities go on a musical theatre masterclass before performing to a panel of judges. It is thought that John Barrowman will return as host and Elaine Page as one of the judges.
