RATINGS REPORT: 18-24 MARCH 2024

The latest +7 day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.



Unsurprisingly, Death In Paradise topped the week with 7,465,000 viewers on BBC One. On Friday night, its spin-off Beyond Paradise returned to a strong 6,164,000. On ITV new drama Passenger launched on Sunday night with 3,675,000.



Channel 5 stripped four-part drama Coma across four nights, launching with 3,783,000 on Monday night and concluding with 2,958,000 on Thursday night. Casualty continued with 2,633,000 on Saturday night.


In entertainment, The Apprentice continued with 5,538,000, Gladiators with 5,267,000, The 1% Club with 4,423,000, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway with 4,406,000, Dragons' Den with 3,695,000, Gogglebox with 3,317,000 and Celebrity Bake Off with 2,919,000.



In soaps, Coronation Street topped the week with 4,534,000, Emmerdale hit a high on Friday night with 3,968,000 and EastEnders' most watched episode of the week was Tuesday night with 3,741,000.


In its final week, Celebrity Big Brother failed to make the top-50 programmes of the week meaning accurate consolidated figures are not available, though all five episodes were below 2.57m.
