RATINGS REPORT: 17-23 JUNE 2024

The latest +7 day consolidated ratings for programmes shown or released have been released by BARB. The top-50 breakdown can be found on BARB's website here.


As expected, the week was dominated by Euro 2024 coverage across BBC One and ITV1, taking the top-8 slots of the week. The most watched game, including pre and post match coverage, was England vs Denmark on Thursday with 8,452,000.



In soaps, Coronation Street was the most-watched programme of the week outside Euro 2024 with 4,184,000 on Tuesday night. Emmerdale hit a high on Friday night with 3,883,000 and EastEnders on Monday night with 3,581,000.


Doctor Who's series finale Empire Of Death has consolidated to 3,694,000 viewers. Casualty continued with 2,518,000 and a repeat of Michael McIntyre's The Wheel was watched by 2,465,000.



Love Island continued all week, with its most watched episode on Monday night with 2,390,000. It ended the week with 2,262,000 on Friday night.


The Great British Sewing Bee continued with 3,426,000 and Celebrity Gogglebox with 2,771,000. Question Time moved to primetime with an audience of 2,660,000 on Thursday night.


Adam Lambert: Out, Loud And Proud did not rate highly enough to make BARB's top-50 for the week, thus the figure is not available.
