The most watched programme of the week was the first head-to-head debate of the Election campaign between Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer on ITV. The debate has consolidated to 5,370,000 viewers. The BBC multi-party debate was watched by 3,246,000 on Friday night.

Due to the simulcast, the BARB consolidated figure for the Love Island launch isn't available, however the highest rating episode on ITV2 was Tuesday night with 2,756,000. Doctor Who continued on Saturday night with a consolidated audience of 3,521,000.

In entertainment, Celebrity Gogglebox returned with 2,943,000 in the later 10:10pm slot on Channel 4. Soccer Aid for UNICEF was watched by 2,982,000 on Sunday night.

In soaps, Coronation Street topped the week with 4,639,000. Emmerdale's most watched episode was Thursday with 4,129,000. EastEnders reached a high on Thursday night with 3,634,000. Casualty continued with 3,013,000.
