QUESTION OF SPORT RETURNS FOR 52nd SERIES ON BBC ONE

The world’s longest running sports quiz returns to the studio this Summer to record its 52nd series.

Host Paddy McGuinness will be joined by captains and sporting superstars Sam Quek and Ugo Monye - along with a whole host of famous faces.

The teams will be taking on a series of games and challenges, some familiar and some brand new.

Commenting on his appointment as host in 2021, Paddy McGuinness said: "I love the fiercely competitive nature of sports stars coupled with having a laugh. That’s why Question of Sport has always been one of my favourite shows and having been weaned on it from an early age, this is an honour and opportunity I’m certainly not taking lightly."

Sam added: "This really is my dream job! I’ve watched A Question of Sport since I was a little girl and my ambition to appear on the show came true five years ago - but I never thought that I would one day be a captain. And the first female captain in the show’s 50-year history too."

The new series records at MediaCity in Salford from Tuesday 28th June, with two recording sessions per day. For more details and audience tickets, click here.

The new series of Question Of Sport will air later this year on BBC One. The last few episodes in the current series air Fridays on BBC One and iPlayer.
