FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 | Preview

All 64 matches from the tournament, set in Australia and New Zealand, which starts in Auckland on July 20, will be broadcast in the UK on either ITV or the BBC, except for the Final, which will be shown across both ITV1 and BBC1.


BBC

Gabby Logan, Reshmin Chowdhury and Alex Scott, who will also work as a pundit, will lead BBC coverage across TV and iPlayer, while Juliette Ferrington and Vicki Sparks lead BBC Radio 5 Live’s team in Australia.



BBC Sport coverage will host a mix of current and former greats of the English game.

Euro 2022 winner Ellen White, former Lionesses captain Steph Houghton and England’s most-capped player, Fara Williams, will all provide expert analysis throughout the tournament.


With over 230 caps between them, England legends Rachel Brown-Finnis, Anita Asante and Karen Bardsley will also return to the BBC’s live coverage of international football. Our Lionesses will be joined by France great Laura Georges, Arsenal Head Coach Jonas Eidevall and Lewes Head Coach Scott Booth.



Leading the commentary across all platforms are Robyn Cowen, Rachel Brown-Finnis, Jonathan Pearce, Vicki Sparks and Karen Bardsley. Other members of the team include Connor McNamara and Steven Wyeth.


Jo Currie (TV), Juliette Ferrington (radio) and Emma Sanders (BBC Sport Online) will lead as England camp reporters.


ITV

Led by main presenter Laura Woods as well as Seema Jaswal and Michelle Owen, ITV’s Women's World Cup squad will offer expert insight, opinion and analysis from Eni Aluko, Karen Carney, Jill Scott, Emma Hayes, Fran Kirby, Lucy Ward, Siobhan Chamberlain, Emma Byrne, Vicky Losada and Jen Beattie.



Commentary will come from Seb Hutchinson, Sam Matterface, Pien Meulensteen and Tom Gayle, while reporting on the tournament will be Katie Shanahan.


Live games will be broadcast on ITV, simulcast on ITVX, with highlights available on ITVX, alongside a comprehensive coverage package and content across ITV Football’s social platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, ensuring fans will not miss a single minute of the action.
