The Weakest Link | Series 2 Preview (BBC One)

A brand-new series of The Weakest Link returns to BBC One on Saturday 17 December with a fresh line-up of celebrity contestants stepping into the studio to battle it out for a chance to win up to £50,000 for charity.



The series marks the second outing as host for BAFTA award winning Romesh Ranganathan after a hugely successful series last year.



The upcoming series will feature appearances from celebrity contestants Scott Mills, David Haye, Naga Munchetty, Brian McFadden, Ruby Wax and Lawrence Chaney, with contestants competing across a range of themed episodes.



Kicking off with a Strictly themed episode, other themed episodes are set to include a Christmas special, New Year’s Eve, Daytime TV, Food and Drink and Sports. The celebrities on the Strictly special are Amy Dowden, Rhys Stephenson, Joanne Clifton,Dan Walker, Karen Haure, Jayde Adams, Kai Widdrington and Max George.

Filmed at BBC Pacific Quay in Glasgow, The Weakest Link (12 x 45) returns Saturday 17th December on BBC One.
