The Savoy At Christmas | Preview (ITV1)

Christmas at the Savoy begins in mid-November when staff work through the night to transform the hotel into a festive wonderland. For 6 intense weeks, the Savoy team prepares for the most lucrative time of the year. After 2020’s Christmas festivities were cancelled, this is now the most vital yuletide in the hotel’s history.

Guest Experience Manger Sean is scheduled to have his first Christmas off in 10 years and is on a mission to ensure his new butler team is ready for the big day, but will staff sickness ruin his festive plans?

In the Thames Foyer, guests check out the hotel’s festive afternoon tea menu, and a famous face drags 13-year-old opera singer, Alfie up to perform.

In the Savoy cellar, Ella from the procurement team must organise hundreds of tons of food and wine, as the hotel stockpiles in preparation for the festive celebrations.

With Sean and Michael off fellow Guest Experience manager, Emily plans to wow some new guests and scrambles to make sure a family has an emotional Christmas to remember.

In the Savoy Grill, Restaurant director, Thierry and head chef Michael are working flat out to meet guests sky high expectations and deliver a 6 course Christmas day tasting menu.
