The National Comedy Awards 2023 | Preview (Channel 4)

The public have voted, the red carpet's in place, and the UK's biggest comedy stars are at the ready to find out if they've scooped a gong, as the National Comedy Awards for Stand Up To Cancer return.

Tom Allen hosts a raucous night live from London's Roundhouse, where the brilliant work from the world of comedy over the past year is honoured.

Awards include Best Scripted Comedy, Best Comedy Podcast and Outstanding Comedy Actress and Actor. On the night, viewers will have the chance to vote live for Best Stand-Up Show, and this year's recipients of the Comedy Breakthrough Star Awards - Susan Wokoma, Jordan Gray and Lenny Rush - will collect their prizes.

Expect surprises aplenty, more glitz than a Liberace concert, and some typically hilarious acceptance speeches.

The National Comedy Awards 2023 airs Friday 17th February on Channel 4.
