Miss Scarlet | Preview (U&Alibi)

Kate Phillips (Wolf Hall) returns as private detective Eliza Scarlet in a brand-new series of popular period crime drama Miss Scarlet.

Eliza’s agency is thriving, and her professional life is on a successful path – on the personal side however, Duke has now been away in New York for several months and Eliza is forced to make a difficult decision.

Meanwhile, a new Detective Inspector, Alexander Blake (played by Tom Durant-Pritchard, The Crown) comes to Scotland Yard and Eliza must navigate building a relationship with him if she’s going to continue having access to police resources.

The Rival: Eliza is hired by Scotland Yard to find a missing Lord accused of murdering his maid. She and Clarence are on the case, but when Detective Inspector Blake arrives at Scotland Yard and kicks Eliza off the case (he makes it a rule not to use private detectives), Eliza realises she has a fight on her hands to convince the new boss in town that she is an invaluable resource.

Miss Scarlet returns Wednesday 5th March at 9pm on U&Alibi.
