Million Pound Motorhomes returns, celebrating the Great British obsession with all things motorhome. From luxurious homes on wheels to self-build van conversions, we’ve exclusive access to festivals, businesses and factory floors, and we meet those living and enjoying life on the road.

Plus we hitch a ride with a number of celebrities who have their own motorhomes, or are keen to try one out. We also head Stateside to get an insight in to some of the most expensive motorhomes on the market, and gadget guru Tomi Adebayo puts a few motorhome must-haves through their paces.

In the first of this new series, TV Presenter Jenny Powell and her family head to the Lake District in their beloved campervan for a spot of wild swimming. Despite the terrible weather they still take the plunge, but can Jenny convince daughter Pollyanna to join them?

In Hull, Marie is arriving to collect her new motorhome from her local dealer. Having enjoyed motorhoming in the past with her husband, she sold their old motorhome when he sadly passed away a year ago. Marie’s now ready to get back on the road, and along with her grandchildren she makes her maiden voyage in her new motorhome to meet family and friends.

Over the Atlantic, Canadian Paralympian Lisa Franks is enjoying the winter living in her converted van on the Californian coast, where she can surf and mountain bike to her heart’s content. Her self-designed, cleverly adapted home on wheels allows her to be independent and enables her to live the outdoor life she loves.

Whilst in the States, we get a glimpse behind the scenes at the Marathon factory in Oregon, where they custom build enormous RVs that come with enormous price tags. The different departments work closely together, and with their clients, to produce the ultimate in motorhoming luxury.

For those of us who don’t have several bathrooms on board, Tomi Adebayo is putting four portable toilets to the test to see which will be his top throne in terms of how compact and comfortable they are.
