New docu-ality series following the lives of a group of aspirational, ambitious, successful British Nigerians and Ghanaians.



As musician Tomi and songwriter fiancée Kamille plan the first of two weddings - a traditional Nigerian wedding - the Jamaican-Cuban bride realises that she has a lot to learn, and fast.



Irene's mum is shocked to discover that her fashion designer daughter doesn't want to put her career on hold for a family and instead wants to freeze her eggs. After its closure due to Covid-19, celebrity make-up artist Bernicia wants to reopen her salon with her big sister Donita, but with one failed business already behind them, can she persuade Donita that it won't be as disastrous as the last time?


And, after discovering that her old friend Kidd Waya is back in London, international DJ Cuppy is ready to share some home truths about her former friend's diva-like behaviour as a new Nigerian celebrity.



Highlife begins Friday 10th September at 10pm on Channel 4.
