Grace | Series 5 Preview (ITV1)

Grace returns for a fifth series with four brand-new feature length films, based on the best-selling novels by globally renowned author Peter James, comprising of Dead If You Don’t, Dead At First Sight, Need You Dead and Find Them Dead.

DS Roy Grace (John Simm) faces stakes higher than ever in four gripping new cases, with personal and professional pressures pushed to the brink while past secrets and shocking betrayals will surface.

It’s over two months since the suicide of Grace’s ex-wife Sandy, and Grace’s son Bruno (Finn Guegan) has come to the UK to live with his grandparents while Grace and Cleo (Zoë Tapper) confront the aftermath of a profound personal loss.

As Roy navigates moving forward, he faces stakes higher than ever as his team tackles a terrifying incident at a football stadium, a crime of passion which isn’t what it seems, a murder with an unsettling secret at its heart and a trial linked to a ruthless drugs empire.

Series five also sees the return of DS Glenn Branson (Richie Campbell), DS Bella Moy (Laura Elphinstone), DC Nick Nicholl (Brad Morrison), and ACC Cassian Pewe (Sam Hoare).

Grace returns Sunday 6th April at 8pm on ITV1.
