When Reverend Richard Coles' husband David died at the end of 2019, he found himself alone for the first time in 12 years.

As someone who deals with the aftermath of death in his profession, he thought he'd be well equipped to deal with it, but when it happened to him, he realised he wasn't.

In this new documentary, Rev Coles opens up the conversation around bereavement and how to live with loss. Setting off on a personal grief voyage, Richard tries some unconventional activities that have helped others, as he faces his own emotions.

From laughter yoga and playing with therapy alpacas, to finding solidarity and solace by embarking on a grief cruise alongside others who are grieving, Rev Coles embraces a range of new and unusual ways to tackle his loss and live with a good grief.
