GLADIATORS TONIGHT: FIRST LOOK AT THIS WEEK'S EPISODE, CONTENDERS AND CHALLENGES

Gladiators, the most exciting and iconic sports entertainment show, continues on BBC One for a second series after the success of the first series which quickly gripped the nation and consolidated to near 10 million viewers.

Once again hosted by father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh, the show will see the Gladiators competing against a brave set of contenders in the ultimate test of speed and strength. They will take part in a series of brand-new games alongside classic challenges including fan-favourite The Eliminator.

In tonight's episode, the daughter of a British boxing icon faces Comet on the infamous Duel podium, Sabre meets her match on Hang Tough, and Viper throws a hissy fit - forcing referee Mark Clattenburg to evict him from the arena.

Gladiators continues Saturdays on BBC One.
